Comfortable and Right Sized for Me

I’ve been on a quest for the right pillow for sleeping comfort and to avoid neck pain or avoid my arms falling asleep in the middle of the night. I’ve been using different shapes and sizes of high density memory foam pillows for almost 20 years. One of the problems I have as a female is that often times pillows are too high and they put my head and neck at a 45° angle toward the ceiling, which is not good. I have had a difficult time finding a pillow that keeps my spine at a neutral position. I was still on a quest for the perfect pillow because sometimes the memory foam only lasts a few months and then becomes too soft and flatter and loses its support. Another problem is sometimes the consistency from one company is not the same when I have purchased a replacement of the same exact pillow when one wears out, or the company has discontinued selling the pillow that I loved.So I decided to give latex rubber a try for the first time with this pillow. I was open-minded to the latex because I have been researching bed mattresses, and there is an option for bed mattresses that have a layer of latex rubber instead of high density memory foam.This pillow is working fantastic for me. A major reason why I like it is that the height of the pillow fits my body so that my spine is kept in a neutral position. I am also finding the consistency of the chunks of the latex rubber, which is a natural product from nature, to be supportive to my neck and head. This latex pillow is also cool temperature, or is not hot feeling.This pillow comes with its own pillowcase, but I’m not using that. I use my 100% cotton pillowcase that matches my bedsheets. This pillow fits inside of regular pillowcases.The support level of this latex pillow is working for me for side sleeping and back sleeping. If it feels a little too high, I just push down on the pillow and it rearranges the rubber chunks to create a lower or different head cradling position that fits my comfort level.I took off one star because the scent of the latex rubber is strong. The scent does absorb into my pillowcase so I am changing every few days. The scent does not go into my hair or on my skin, I asked my husband to confirm.I am so happy with the comfort level of this pillow. It has resulted in me waking up a lower amount of times in the night and I am also sleeping longer hours total. My sleep data is collected from my fitness and sleep tracker device.

If you're tired of pillows that go flat halfway through the night, this 100% latex pillow is a great investment. It has a bouncy but firm feel that provides consistent support for your neck and shoulders. The cotton cover is a nice touch; it’s soft and noticeably more breathable than synthetic covers, which helps with preventing hot spots.It’s an ergonomic design that works well for side and back sleep. It feels much more substantial and durable than a standard fiber-fill pillow, and it immediately springs back to its original shape almost as soon as you lift your head. I use a CPAP and this pillow works better than a regular or memory foam pillow that lets my head sink in too much.I threw mine in the dryer on a light air cycle to help it expand and remove some of the latex smell. After the dryer cycle, and letting it rest a few hours, it was ready for use and had no noticeable smell.

Firm pillow for neck pain

This pillow is very firm and provides excellent neck support. If you suffer from neck pain, this pillow is a great choice.

I have been on a pillow journey...Fibromyalgia and other inflammatory conditions. I kept reading that I should look for firmer support -but I always thought otherwise. I finally took the plunge and yes this pillow is definitely firm. But with the cut out my head can actually reach into the pillow for full support. The dent for the head is perfect and my neck is supported. Give it a few nights and you may find that the pain you were trying to avoid is now avoiding you. This is a keeper this is not shredded latex( which i dislike) it is solid latex, firm with an excellent cover ( I still use a pillowcase on top). Try it and give it a chance.
